Premiere: B1 – Light Blue File – Shape [NQ003]
Nila's Quest label is back with a piece from their debut release by Light Blue File, a name you might recognize from LBF Records or pryma labels. It’s taken a darker turn from their previous works, but I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing. Quite the contrary.
Premiere: 3 – Light Blue File – Ein The Rein [PRY009]
Light Blue File shines a light on the serene tech-house flavours coming out of Beunos Aires. Argentina and the wider culture of Latin America is deeply rooted in dance music, through it’s traditional ties to salsa and public performance just as much as it’s healthy electronic music sphere.
DJMAG - Have I Lost My Face? [Electro - Crítica]
On the third release of the Nila Quest label, the first vinyl release by Light Blue File is presented — an artist originally from Patagonia, Argentina, now based in Buenos Aires. This record features four tracks of mysterious electro with cleverly crafted Pop references. Throughout the EP, you’ll find dark melodies and synthesizers, along with truly interesting basslines, complemented by vocals recorded in his own studio. It’s undoubtedly a very original and innovative EP that stands out within the new sound of electro and would light up any dancefloor. With this release, Light Blue File has established himself as an artist to watch, and we’re excited to discover what future releases he has in store for us.
